Job Description
Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coder II to join our Coding Team! In this role you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing medical records, assigning appropriate codes to diagnoses, procedures, and services, and ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims to insurance companies and government agencies.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes
- Familiarity with ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems
- Four years of coding experience in a healthcare setting
