Construction Engineer (PE)

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with a concentration on Construction/Transportation
• Successfully passed FE (EIT) and on track (or obtained) PE license
• (1) year MDOT construction project management experience is preferred, but not required.
• 5 years field experience
• Relevant municipal experiences related to water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer are also desirable
• Comprehensive understanding of established construction practices, procedures, and techniques as well as applicable local, State, and Federal delivery requirements
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and related construction documents
• Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving skills
• Computer skills including, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word, CAD
