Agentic AI Solutions Engineer

The AI Solutions Engineer plays a pivotal role in the IT Strategy function at SUSE, responsible for building, developing, and integrating AI Agents using various frameworks and platforms. This role bridges technical complexity and business utility, creating solution patterns, documenting integration standards, and producing enablement materials to train the business on how to use these new tools.

Requirements

• Strong development background with experience in API integration and automation workflows (e.g., Python, JavaScript, REST APIs)
• Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks, Large Language Models (LLMs), and prompt engineering
• Strong background on Linux and k8s
• Experience with N8N, Google Gemini Enterprise, or similar agentic platforms is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Vector Databases, RAG architectures & LLM Evaluation frameworks is a plus
• Experience in creating technical documentation, training materials, or knowledge bases
• Ability to think in "modular" terms—building reusable components rather than single-purpose scripts
• Strong interpersonal skills to train and enable business users
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced "Start-Up" culture within the IT Strategy team
• Problem-solving mindset focused on removing friction and "toil" from business processes
