Field Technician - Signs

We are seeking a Field Technician – Signs to provide technical support for new and existing sign installations and perform modifications to existing signs.

Requirements

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Some college education or training from an accredited electrical trade school is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years of field experience in related industry.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required.
• IMSA Level 2 or higher with some electronic/electrical working knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel frequently to job sites by car and occasionally by air.
• Experience operating aerial list equipment or ability to obtain certification.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in field environments while maintaining coordination with internal teams.
• Must be flexible to support after-hours and weekend assignments when necessary to support field operations or minimize disruption to traffic systems.
• Must be computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain high level of professionalism while under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, including meters and specialty tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Traffic signal product knowledge and/or traffic maintenance experience a plus.
