Mechanical Engineer, Propulsion Integration

Swarm Aero is redefining air power and is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead propulsion integration activities. The team has created and exited multiple startups and has experience from top aerospace companies.

Requirements

• Lead mechanical design and integration activities related to propulsion systems and subsystems.
• Serve as the primary engineering point of contact for propulsion integration.
• Develop and maintain 3D CAD models, installation drawings, and integration assemblies.
• Conduct trade studies on layout, mass properties, thermal management, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with stress, thermal, and aerodynamics engineers.
• Support prototype builds and flight tests.
• Generate design documentation, test procedures, and reports.
• Identify risks early and propose practical design mitigations or improvements.
