Lead Timber Engineer

Lead Timber Engineer to provide structural engineering, research and development, technical marketing, project facilitation and implementation for mass timber projects.

Requirements

• 4 year Engineering degree, or equivalent experience
• Structural design experience (4 years minimum)
• Timber structural design experience (3 years, including supervisory skills)
• PE registration required
• SE registration preferred
• Mass Timber design experience required (2 years minimum)
• Proficient knowledge of US structural design codes (including timber, steel and concrete)
• Drafting experience in Revit or similar software.
• Basic Microsoft products computer skills required
• Strong and effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong understanding of structural engineering fundamentals.
• Leadership ability.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Detail oriented and self motivated
• Strong sense of urgency.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
