Job Description
Swiss Re is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to design and deliver Azure solution architecture, disaster recovery, and backup plans. The role involves collaboration with engineering teams, subject matter experts, and security teams, contributing to cloud transformation and adherence to best practices. This is a transformative role requiring proficiency in Azure AI Services, Kubernetes, AKS, and a strong understanding of DevOps methodologies.
Requirements
- Expertise in designing app workloads using Cloud Platform Services (SaaS, PaaS).
- Expertise in technology selection based on Architecture decision records.
- Expertise in Azure AI Services (Foundry, ML OpenAI, Anomaly detection, Bot Services, LUIS), AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), App Services, DataBricks, ADF (Azure Data Factory), ASB (Azure Service Bus), EventHub, KV (Key Vault), SA (Storage Account), Container Registry, Azure Functions, Redis, LogicApps, Azure Firewall, VNET, Private Endpoint, Service Endpoint, SQL Server, CosmosDB, MongoDB.
- Experience in designing IaC using Terraform on Azure DevOps.
- Expertise in designing Azure disaster recovery and backup scenarios meeting NFRs.
- Azure Well-Architected framework or Cloud design patterns.
- Azure Well-Architected framework or Cloud design patterns.
- Experience in one or more programming languages: .Net / C#, Java, Python or Ruby
- Azure landing zone design, platform automation design, DevSecOps tooling, network topology & connectivity, access management & privileged identity design, platform monitoring, security architecture, high availability architecture design
- Experience in DevOps methodology (preferably DevSecOps), both technically and organisationally
- Good stakeholder communication.
- Fluency in English.
