Senior Platform Architect defines, designs, and governs the implementation of Non-Functional Requirements across Swiss Re's Life & Health digital ecosystem. Responsible for technology stewardship, NFR governance, and framework and library upgrades.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise software engineering (preferably Java/J2EE ecosystem)
- 5+ years in architecture or technical leadership roles
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful microservices, and related frameworks
- Proven experience with Azure Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation
- Proficiency with observability and performance tooling (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
- Experience managing framework and library upgrades, dependency security remediation, and platform migrations
- Working knowledge of authentication/authorization (Okta, Azure AD, OAuth2/OpenID Connect)
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps and secure SDLC principles
- Familiarity with architecture modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect or Visio
