Machining / Mold Making Apprentice

The Machining / Mold Making Apprentice is responsible for various duties within the department, including programming and operating a CNC machine, preparing mold components, and fitting and assembling molds. Reporting to the Site Lead, the Apprentice ensures first time quality and achieves time allowances for each job assigned.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required
• Ability to ensure quality standards are met
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
• Proficient in time management and communication skills
• Previous machining experience is an asset
• Certification, college degree, high school diploma and/or equivalent experience in Mold Manufacturing environment
