Job Description
Syde is seeking a seasoned PHP and WordPress engineer to join their remote team as a Senior Web Engineer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PHP, WordPress development, and experience mentoring others. They will work on complex features and projects, lead technical discussions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in PHP
- Strong WordPress development expertise
- Real-world Gutenberg / Block Editor experience
- Solid JavaScript and React experience
- Proven ability to mentor other engineers
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Confidence working directly with clients
- Comfort working across the full stack
- English at professional working level
- Timezone compatible with Central European hours
