Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to develop strategic plans for health and safety, assist in reviewing and monitoring health, environmental, and safety goals, and drive the implementation of best practice in the mining industry. The successful candidate will have a central role in establishing, developing, and anchoring HMS work in Sydvaranger, a growing and developing company with a strong and engaged professional community.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Longer experience in a similar position
- Experience in the mining or process industry
- Very good insight and knowledge of Norwegian legislation, regulations, and permits
- Experience with the use of digital HMS tools and systems to optimize safety reporting and process follow-up
