Senior Chemical Engineer

Symrise is a global provider of fragrances and aromas, cosmetic active ingredients, and functional ingredients. As a Senior Chemical Engineer, you will develop systems to ensure critical data collection, direct data presentations, and drive interfunctional decision-making. You will represent the engineering function in meetings, plan and lead work, manage employees, and oversee capital projects.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in chemical engineering
• Experience in planning, coordinating, and constructing chemical plants
• Knowledge of piping, instrumentation, and common equipment in chemical plants
• Advanced knowledge of chemical processes
• Participation in chemical process HAZOP analysis
• Leadership and guidance capacity for engineering and maintenance teams
