Job Description
Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Senior Database Developer to establish database management systems, standards, requirements, guidelines, and quality assurance for database deliverables.
Requirements
- Proven track record of working with complex database systems and data warehousing solutions
- Experience with database design, architecture, and data modeling
- Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) programming and query optimization
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers
- Familiarity with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Understanding of business processes and requirements gathering
