Requirements

• Perform equipment maintenance according to abilities, as required to keep the process running.
• Assist with the processing of material in a safe, effective timely manner for hauling to appropriate location and in compliance with all company, federal, state and local regulation/policies.
• Maintain records of plant operations including, but not limited to, hourly operating data, plant violations, and abnormal operating conditions in appropriate logbook.
• Communicate and inform supervisor of all major problems, or if for any reason the process is shut down for more than 1 hour.
• Prepare and complete equipment checks at the start of every shift and complete all necessary forms.
• Perform any general work or other assignments necessary to ensure the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the plant to include sweeping, shoveling, and other housekeeping activities.
• Enforce and maintain standard safety procedures and always maintain a clean work area.
• Participate and complete training programs within the time frame allotted.
