Senior Data Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer for our hybrid working model in Novi Sad or Belgrade office. The role involves leading the technical design and delivery of data pipelines, transformations, and data models within the platform, and setting and upholding engineering standards.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of data engineering experience, including technical leadership responsibilities
• Strong SQL skills and deep experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development at scale
• Hands-on expertise with Databricks - Autoloader, Delta Live Tables, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog
• Proven experience with Lakehouse and medallion architecture patterns
• Strong data modelling skills - dimensional, entity-based, SCD handling
• Experience building or contributing to data products consumed via API or analytics tooling
• Understanding of data governance, access control, and regulated data environments
• Proven ability to define engineering standards, mentor engineers, and collaborate effectively in fast-paced environments
