Job Description
The Director of Applications Engineering leads a team of Application Engineers to deliver excellent customer outcomes by partnering with Synopsys' customers to successfully integrate leading-edge Interface IP into ASIC SoCs/systems for next-generation products.
Requirements
- Lead and develop a team of Application Engineers
- Set priorities, allocate resources, and manage execution across multiple customer engagements and internal deliverables
- Own customer escalations for Interface IP integration
- Define and standardize best practices for pre-silicon integration reviews, signoff checklists, and milestone-based customer engagement
- Drive strong cross-functional collaboration and feedback loops to improve product quality, documentation, collateral, and enablement
- Track and report on key metrics and continuously improve team processes
- Stay current on relevant standards and market trends and translate them into team readiness and customer guidance
- Travel occasionally to support strategic customer engagements, executive reviews, and critical milestones
