Job Description
Functional Safety Application Engineer position at Synopsys in India, Bengaluru. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of functional safety in automotive systems, ISO 26262, and related safety standards, with 4-10 years of experience in automotive functional safety or related domains.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications, Automotive Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related field
- 4-10 years of experience in automotive functional safety or related domains
- Deep knowledge of ISO 26262 and proven experience implementing functional safety processes in automotive environments
- Familiarity with the complete functional safety lifecycle, including FSC, TSC, tool qualification, audits, and assessments
- Expertise in reliability analysis (failure prediction, FMEDA, DC analysis) and ability to address technical queries
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, with strong customer-facing communication skills
- Motivation to engage and collaborate with customers, delivering high-impact solutions
