Job Description
Senior Validation/Verification Engineer position at Synopsys, responsible for designing, developing, and debugging bare metal firmware for advanced mixed-signal and high-speed SerDes products. The role requires strong digital design background, experience with structured firmware development, verification, and comprehensive documentation processes, and a passion for quality and innovation.
Requirements
- BSEE or MSEE with a minimum of 5 years of experience in bare metal firmware development and silicon testing
- Strong understanding of digital design principles, including RTL-level concepts and methodologies
- Proven experience with structured firmware development, verification, and comprehensive documentation processes
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects from inception to successful completion, including silicon bring-up and validation
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with cross-functional teams and customers
- Basic knowledge of SerDes standards and protocols is a plus
- Experience with scripting languages such as Shell or Python is advantageous
