Job Description
The Test Engineering Team at SynQor is seeking a motivated Electrical Test Engineer to work on the integration of test hardware and software to support power converters. This role involves developing and implementing automated test hardware and software, testing from design prototypes through release, and collaborating with multiple teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated problem solver with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Requirements
- Develop, implement, and maintain test processes using NI TestStand and LabVIEW
- Troubleshoot and implement effective solutions to test issues
- Collaborate with various teams to define test requirements and support product testing
- Communicate test functionality and data analysis interpretations
- Design and troubleshoot power converters
- Test instrumentation bus familiarity
- IEEE-488, LXI, PXI experience
- High-voltage/current test circuit and fixture design
- PCB design and layout (PADS, PowerLogic, PowerPCB)
- Hi-pot test hardware
- Burn-in system development
- Statistical process control and analysis
- Analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Good documentation practices
