Engineer - Data Engineering - Tableau

We are currently on the lookout for an Engineer - Data Engineering - Tableau to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing Tableau Desktop visualizations, supporting the team that provides full-stack analytic solutions, and supporting the overall business migration to Tableau.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, and 1-2 years of experience
• Expert proficiency using Tableau Desktop
• Expert proficiency writing SQL SELECT statements
• Very strong technical, analytical, and data visualization skills and an understanding of visualization best practices
• Must be an independent thinker and who is skilled at proposing new ways of looking at old problems
• Can effectively communicate, both written and verbal, to any level of the company and can serve as an “analytic translator”
• Can facilitate training and coaching of others to improve their ability to use data and analytical tools
• Has a proven productivity track record while working remotely, with minimal supervision
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, advanced Excel skills
• Must have the ability to adhere to strict deadlines and manage time effectively
• Should be detail-oriented and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks/assignments
