Transportation Supervisor

Transportation Supervisor responsible for supervising delivery staff, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and providing safe and efficient customer service.

Requirements

• Supervises the daily work and safety of Delivery Associates
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulatory agencies
• Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget
• Prepares work schedules
• Oversees the proper selection and utilization of company assets
• Interprets, trains and enforces company policies and procedures
• Communicates with Sales Management and Marketing Associates
• Visits customer locations and meets with customers to address issues
• Preserves associate relations through regular department or pre-shift meetings
• Maintains on-going interaction
• Monitors associate morale
• Coordinates efforts with the Safety department
• Makes recommendations for disciplinary action and/or behavior modification
• Executes management functions of staff selection, development, discipline, performance reviews and/or terminations
