Warehouse Selector - SYGMA - Stockton, CA

We are seeking a Warehouse Selector to join our SYGMA Northern CA Distribution Center. As a Warehouse Selector, you will be responsible for selecting, pulling, sorting, and stacking product in the warehouse and dock, following company standards. You will also be expected to work in a freezer and dry warehouse environment, handle products and build pallets according to established food safety procedures, and maintain the warehouse cleanly and safely.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree
• 6 months of previous warehouse experience preferred
• Knowledge of safe lifting procedures and food safety guidelines
• Ability to operate forklift and/or pallet jack and maneuver in tight areas
• Meet the minimum productivity levels established by the company
• Read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations
• Perform basic math functions (e.g., add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Solve problems
• Apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Wear personal protective equipment (e.g., safety shoes)
