Job Description
SCT resources are looking for a JAVA / DATABASE DEVELOPER to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Java, database design, and performance tuning, as well as strong fundamentals in multithreading, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional development experience
- Strong fundamentals in multithreading, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
- Strong core Java skills
- Solid data modeling, database design, and performance tuning skills
- Comfortable with XML
- Knowledge of Foreign Exchange Trading systems
- Problem solving/Mathematical/Analytical skills
- Design Patterns (including MVVM)
- Experience with DB2 and/or Sybase tools
