Job Description
System Canada is looking for a Technical Specialist (UNIX) with at least 5 years of experience in administering Unix systems. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of application design, hosting architecture, and experience working with Websphere and IIS. They should also be able to plan and execute projects independently, with good negotiation and communication skills.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in administering Unix systems
- Good understanding of application design and hosting architecture
- Experience working with Websphere and IIS
- Good exposure to detailed planning for infrastructure-related activities
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and display good negotiation skills
- Independent and resourceful with ability to plan and execute projects
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and facilitate with different teams and team members
