Job Description
SA-TECH is seeking a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic (GSEM) for its White Sands Missile Range near Orogrande, NM. The GSEM will diagnose, repair, and maintain ground support equipment, ensuring operational readiness. They will also be responsible for tasks such as performing scheduled maintenance, inspecting equipment, and providing training to other mechanics. Requirements
- Diagnoses, repairs, and maintains ground support equipment (GSE).
- Diagnoses all system components, including electrical, electronics, and emissions related fault codes etc.
- Prepares GSE for storage and mobility deployment.
- Operates, cleans, inspects, and services GSE towing vehicles.
- Maintains vehicle records.
- Works weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Certified as Class A CDL, able to be insured, and obtain a DoD security secret clearance.
- Eligible to pass background screening for SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.
