We are looking for a Principal Process Engineer with Dynamic Process Simulation expertise to provide practical solutions to our clients' challenges, including the requirement to decarbonise oil and gas production. You will work on a variety of projects, involved in compressor surge analysis, holistic simulation, control optimisation & validation, process safety time analysis, liquid surge (water-hammer) assessment, HIPPS response times, heat exchanger tube rupture and many more unique issues that are faced by our client.
Requirements
- Engineering degree, honours or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or similar.
- Working towards a Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Chemical Engineers or equivalent.
- Extensive experience using Hysys Dynamics and/or Unisim Dynamics as well as PipeNet and/or Wanda or similar liquid surge (waterhammer) programs.
- Great organizational skills with good attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Related experience in the Oil and Gas Industry and/or Low Carbon Energy Transition projects would be useful.
- Understanding of relevant industry codes and standards.
