We are looking for a Principal Environmental Engineer with specialist knowledge related to the EU/UK Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) compliance. The role will involve managing permit compliance for operating industrial sites and preparing permit applications for new industrial developments onshore and offshore.
Requirements
- University degree qualified in relevant engineering or science field
- Strong and relevant experience
- Knowledge of industrial emissions legislation and the UK/EU Emissions Trading Scheme
- Strong time-management skills and good planning and organisational abilities
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Excellent written skills, with good attention to detail
- Mentoring of less experienced team members
- Ability to think innovatively
