AEGIS Electronics Maintenance Specialist

Role Overview

We have an immediate need for a full-time AEGIS Electronics Maintenance Specialist to oversee the requirements of the Statement of Work at our Wallops Island, Virginia, station. The Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) at Wallops Island requires support in management, engineering, operations, and technical expertise for the activation, operation, maintenance, and engineering of equipment, systems, and computer programs.

What You Will Do

Assists in various types of electronic systems, including system design, integration, modification, testing, installation engineering, and design engineering. Conducts analyses, analyzes test results, and recommends design changes to bring systems into compliance with design/performance specifications.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must have at least 10 years of experience in maintenance management of shipboard electronics combat systems equipment. Must be able to prioritize and schedule personnel to support maintenance tasks across mission facilities and make recommendations for troubleshooting, workarounds, or corrective actions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 10 years of experience in maintenance management of shipboard electronics combat systems equipment
• Active DoD Secret security clearance (or eligible to obtain and maintain)
• U.S. citizenship
