Systems Engineering Lead

Role Overview

We have an immediate need for a full-time Systems Engineering Lead to oversee the requirements of the Statement of Work at our Wallops Island, Virginia, station. The Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) at Wallops Island requires support in management, engineering, operations, and technical expertise for the activation, operation, maintenance, and engineering of equipment, systems, and computer programs.

What You Will Do

Assists in various types of electronic systems such as C4I, Combat Systems, Communication Systems, etc. Duties include system design, integration, modification, testing, installation engineering, and design engineering, developing and reviewing equipment test plans and procedures, conducting analyses, analyzing test results, and recommending design changes to bring systems into compliance with design/performance specifications.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must have a Bachelor’s of Science degree from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline. Must have at least seven years of demonstrated experience managing large projects including ability to plan, develop schedules, organize, and coordinate team members to accomplish assigned tasks.

• Active DoD Secret security clearance (or eligible to obtain and maintain one)
