System Engineer

T-Systems is a leading provider of digital services, offering integrated end-to-end IT solutions. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing Windows-based systems, including virtualization, storage, and networking technologies.

Requirements

• Excellent technical knowledge of all Windows operating systems
• Experience with Physical and Virtual Servers
• Understanding of server storage networking technologies
• Good knowledge in Server Operations, Server Hardware, RAID, ILO, Firmware, etc.
• Experience with Windows OS patching, WSUS, and other patching tools
• Scripting skills in PowerShell or other languages
• Automation experience
• Knowledge in OS Image customization using scripts
• Knowledge in FTP, IIS, DNS, DHCP
• Good Knowledge on Windows Related application Installation and administration
• Understanding of virtualization technology
• Experience in VMware vSphere administration
• P2V, V2V, VMotion, and VMware virtual centre experience
• Performance tuning of VMware servers and Virtual sessions management
• Knowledge in ITIL Management, Incidents, Changes, Request, Problems
• Data gathering and analysis skills for internal performance monitoring and Service Level management
• Self motivated individual with excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills
• Good written and oral communication skills to interact with global teams
• Knowledge in tools such as WSUS, Zabbix, HPOA, and Trend Micro antivirus knowledge is a plus
• Leadership skills to execute projects and respond to issues successfully
