Takeda is seeking an Associate Director, Computational Chemistry, Research to join their multi-disciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in computational chemistry and a strong background in drug discovery. They will contribute to advancing drug discovery projects and implement innovative computational methodologies and tools.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Chemistry or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in industry (pharma/biotech) drug discovery experience
- Expertise in computational tools and methodology, including generative chemistry, large-scale virtual screening, molecular dynamics, homology modeling, quantum mechanics, pharmacophore elucidation, data mining, machine learning, cheminformatics
- Strong impact in progressing discovery projects from hits to clinical leads
- Familiarity with organic and synthetic chemistry concepts
- Proficiency with state-of-the-art Computational Chemistry software
