Medical Director, Clinical Science, NS TAU- Sleep Medicine

Takeda is seeking a Medical Director, Clinical Science, Neuroscience TAU- Sleep Medicine to lead global clinical development strategy, drive clinical science activities, and interact with regulatory authorities and key opinion leaders. The ideal candidate has a medical degree, 3 years of clinical research experience, and expertise in pulmonology/neurology with sleep medicine experience. The position is hybrid, with the opportunity to work remotely and in-office in Cambridge, MA.

Requirements

• MD or internationally recognized equivalent
• 3 years of clinical research experience
• Pulmonologist/Neurologist with sleep medicine expertise
• Previous experience leading a clinical development team/matrix team
• NDA/MAA/Submission experience preferred
• Management experience
• Superior communication, strategic, interpersonal and negotiating skills
• Ability to proactively predict issues and solve problems
• Ability to drive decision-making within a multi-disciplinary, multi-regional, matrix teams
• Diplomacy and positive influencing abilities
• Therapeutic area knowledge
• Neurology/sleep medicine therapeutic area knowledge preferred
• Regional/global Regulatory requirements
• GCP/ICH
• Emerging research in designated therapeutic area
