Plasma Center Nurse RN Bilingual - Humble, TX

The Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, and review laboratory test results. The role is responsible for proper management of informed consent, AIDS education, and confidential self-exclusion, as well as providing guidance on medical or technical issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Currently licensed or certified as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
• Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting
