Senior Backend Engineer - Team Optimize

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and own backend systems and APIs operating on large volumes of decision data. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience building and owning production backend systems and be comfortable working with large datasets. The role will involve designing and evolving high-scale subsystems operating on historical decision data, maintaining a high bar for code quality, system reliability, and delivery velocity, and collaborating cross-functionally to translate business problems into scalable technical systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years building and owning production backend systems
• Comfort working with large datasets
• Prior industry experience with Python
• Experience with AWS services and serverless architectures
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
