Job Description
Tala is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel (Director level) to join its U.S. legal team, providing expert advice on capital markets transactions, drafting and negotiating legal documents, and overseeing due diligence processes.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state
- 6+ years of legal experience relevant to the role in a law firm or corporate setting
- Proven track record of handling complex commercial transactions
- Strong background in capital markets and corporate governance
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment
