Deputy Press Secretary for Rapid Response

The Deputy Press Secretary for Rapid Response will support the communications team in driving James' message by responding to breaking developments in the press. This role is responsible for developing and executing the campaign's response to quickly developing press narratives, monitoring news cycles, and building relationships with reporters.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in political communications, journalism or another relevant field
• Proven experience producing quality deliverables under tight deadlines and high pressure
• Deep understanding of the Texas and national political landscape
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
