Power Plant Technician-Fuel

The Plant Technician-Fuel operates and maintains various types of fuel handling equipment associated with the unloading and reclaiming of fuel and the disposal of coal combustion products. Equipment maintained and operated may include barge unloaders, stacker/reclaimer, bulldozers, conveyor belts and associated auxiliary equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to work with bulk materials such as coal, dirt, ash, gravel and coal combustion products
• Ability to effectively work as a team member and communicate orally and in writing
• Ability to maintain equipment, inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical system problems
