Turbine/Generator Engineer – PJM Fossil Plants

Talen Energy is seeking a Turbine/Generator Engineer to support and lead the LP Turbine and Generator work for the Baltimore plants. The role will involve technical support and guidance to the fossil plants on Turbines and Generators, interface with management teams, and assist in planning and implementation of maintenance outages.

Requirements

• Senior Engineer
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or other related science discipline from a college or university accredited by ABET, or recognized by ABET as substantially equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ related engineering experience.
• Principal Engineer
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, engineering technology, or other related science discipline from a college or university accredited by ABET, or recognized by ABET as substantially equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience, with recognized expertise in power plant engineering.
• Experience in working with large rotating equipment (specifically turbines and generators).
• Experience in working with steam turbines and combustion turbines.
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, and lubrication monitoring.
• Professional Engineer registration in Pennsylvania (for principal engineer position)
