Buyer will be responsible for managing procurement and supplier relationships for two sites, while supporting the Director of Strategic Sourcing in integrating legacy procurement processes into Aspen Surgical systems and operating model.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 Years Purchasing and 1-2 years of contracting experience
- ERP software experience particularly, an in-depth knowledge of MRP preferred
- Familiarity with total cost analysis concepts
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent understanding of statistical concepts used to formulate safety stock quantities to meet customer service levels
- Experience with implementing and maintaining a Lean Material Flow manufacturing environment is a plus
- Able to demonstrate a track record of accomplishments in supply chain management
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment; M&A integration experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with ERP forecasting software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including, word, excel and Outlook
- Certification from APICS or ISM a plus
