NES Midwest - Energy Auditor I

Franklin Energy is seeking an Energy Auditor I to provide services to small business tenants, building owners, and utility customers, promoting energy efficiency and providing expert advice and coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing walk-through energy assessments, installing energy-efficient equipment, and educating customers on rebate programs and energy efficiency.

Requirements

• Promote the energy efficiency program to customers through the completion of scheduled energy assessments
• Work with building owners and property managers to provide energy efficiency advice and assistance
• Deliver professional, high-quality services to utility customers
• Install energy saving devices, including energy efficiency lighting and programmable thermostats
• Clearly explain and articulate energy assessment findings to building owners
• Enter data into spreadsheets and databases to determine energy savings
• Maintain professional appearance and build quick rapport with customers
• Lead presentations promoting energy efficiency programs for targeted groups
• Perform direct installation of faucet aerators and LED lamps
• Assure the cleanliness and organization of warehouse locations and fleet vehicle parking areas
• Perform routine vehicle safety inspections and submit inspection and maintenance reports
