We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our client team at Fresh Supermarket in Medan. As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's purchasing process, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products and services.

Requirements

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the company's objectives
• Identify and source new suppliers for fresh, meat and groceries, negotiate contracts and maintain relationships
• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products and services
• Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
• Monitor and track supplier performance and address any issues or concerns
• Develop and maintain purchasing policies and procedures
• Train and supervise purchasing staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Stay updated on industry developments and trends to make informed purchasing decisions
• Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and cost savings to senior management
