Senior Accountant (Private Foundation)

Our client, a Private Foundation is NYC, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will track and evaluate day-to-day accounting and support financial activities.

Requirements

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
• Outstanding organizational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Prior work experience in accounting is essential
• Advanced and proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• Advanced and proven computer skills in accounting software and databases such as QuickBooks
• Detailed knowledge of applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Salesforce, project management software (Monday.com, Asana, etc.), macOS, Google Calendar and database programs
