Senior Accountant (Audit and Assurance)

As an Auditor in our team, your impact will be seen by helping clients create new value for their organizations by identifying priority areas of risk and process improvement. You will develop financial audit strategies and methodologies for our clients, enabling them to mitigate financial risk and identify future opportunities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparation of audit planning and completion documentation, tailoring and reviewing audit procedures, and writing up written advice around the application of accounting standards and policy.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce or related field
• CPA/CA qualified or quasi qualified
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS
• At least 5 years of working experience in audit and assurance position with an Australian local accounting firm (overseas experience needs to be over 5 years)
• Familiar with common seen accounting and reporting systems, as well as office suite and data analytical tools
• Customer service skills focusing on delivering excellent service to clients
• Proven time management and team management skills
• High level of attention to detail
