IT/Technical Architect

TMH is seeking an IT/Technical Architect to work in Tallahassee, FL. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture and engineering, with expertise in emerging technologies and a strong understanding of industry trends. The IT Architect will be responsible for providing technical direction, planning, and implementing technology solutions that align with the organization's strategic objectives. Key skills include knowledge of industry-standard certifications, documentation of policies and procedures, and experience with Citrix load balancers and cloud load balancers.

Requirements

• Principal IT advisor to Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH)
• Responsible for the technology direction supporting the strategic planning effort
• Recommends technological infrastructure standards necessary to achieve strategic imperatives
• Plans, designs, and implements the acquired hardware and/or software components for new technology projects
• Safeguards access to IT assets
• Designs leading-edge, cost-effective technology or application solutions
• Conceptualizes, architects, designs, implements, and supports integrated solutions to satisfy institutional business requirements while conforming to defined IT standards and regulations
• Creates and delivers proposals and gathers quotes needed to provide total ownership costs for solutions
• May act as manager responsible for scheduling other architects and/or technician assignments and assessing budgetary needs
• May conduct computer support colleague evaluations
• May coordinate future direction on technical issues, such as obsolete software
