Job Description
Works under a registered pharmacist’s direct supervision to perform technical and clerical duties for the hospital-wide unit dose drug distribution system, manages drug shortages, and maintains adequate inventories.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four years pharmacy experience
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- FLBOP registration in accordance with Florida Statutes, Title XXXII (Regulations of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 465 (Pharmacy), Section 014 (Pharmacy Technician)
