Seasonal CT Technologist

InterHealth Staffing is a for-profit staffing division of TGH committed to providing patients with excellent and compassionate care. The CT Technologist II provides outstanding customer service to patients, providers and clinical teams with the primary task of operating imaging equipment to acquire quality diagnostic images as ordered by the physician.

Requirements

• Presents a professional, welcoming, supportive, and calm demeanor during all aspects of interactions with patients
• Maintains a working knowledge and operation of CT & X-ray equipment and imaging protocols
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patients conditions and ensuring completion of imaging exams
• Completes all required documentation required for imaging being performed
• Applies the principles of radiation safety to minimize exposure to patients, self and others
• Assesses diagnostic images for technical quality, proper annotation and patient identification ensuring all relative anatomy is demonstrated
• Demonstrates proficiency in contrast medication administration with and without the use of power injectors
• Maintains work area in a constant state of readiness
• Follows all facility policies, procedures and protocols
• Performs other various tasks as directed related to diagnostic imaging
