Job Description
The AV Designer creates audio/visual wiring diagrams, architectural drawings, calculations, and submittals for projects. They serve as a technical resource assisting with bidding, design, permitting, and construction. Responsibilities include code testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Requirements
- Read and interpret AV systems drawings.
- Gather programming requirements.
- Create new control modules, code, and user interfaces.
- Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting.
- Perform commissioning and acceptance testing.
- Create end-user and programming-related documentation.
