Tarantino Properties is a full-service real estate company seeking a Corporate Controller in Houston, Texas to lead their accounting department. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high transactional and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Partner with the CFO and other executives to provide strategic insights based on financial data and analysis
• Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team
• Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting operational functions
• Oversee the budget process
• Coordinate and review financial statements to be completed in a timely manner
• Assess current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new processes
• Evaluate the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed
• Interface with clients as needed
• Stay current with accounting standards, regulations, and best practices
