Job Description
We're looking for a Lead Engineer to join our team at Target in India. As a Lead Engineer, you'll be responsible for creating and owning the application architecture that best serves our products. You'll identify and drive architectural changes to accelerate feature development or improve the quality of service. We're looking for someone with 7+ years of software development experience, a strong domain-specific knowledge of Target's technology capabilities, and expertise in multiple computer languages and frameworks.
Requirements
- 4 year degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of software development experience with at least one full cycle implementation
- Strong domain-specific knowledge regarding Target's technology capabilities, and key competitors' products and differentiating features
- Broad and deep expertise in multiple computer languages and frameworks (e.g., open source)
- Experience in building highly scalable distributed systems
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with project team, partners, and stakeholders
