We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PLC programming on Allen Bradley and Siemens platforms, motor drive programming, and system troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 5+ years relevant experience in machine automation control or 8+ years of applied experience in related field plus relevant technical education/certifications
- Proven experience in PLC programming with Allen Bradley and Siemens platforms, motor drive programming, robotic programming/troubleshooting, and vision systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Demonstrated success in project management
- Familiarity with Ignition development and scripting is required
- Solid understanding of industrial automation systems, protocols, and standards
- Effective written and oral communication with team members and stakeholders of various backgrounds and levels
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization
- Experience in AutoCAD in order to develop and maintain electrical schematics
